Dr. Richard Mark Soley is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OMG®.
As Chairman and CEO of OMG, Dr. Soley is responsible for the vision and direction of the world's largest consortium of its type. Dr. Soley joined the nascent OMG as Technical Director in 1989, leading the development of OMG's world-leading standardization process and the original CORBA® specification. In 1996, he led the effort to move into vertical market standards (starting with healthcare, finance, telecommunications and manufacturing) and modeling, leading first to the Unified Modeling Language (UML®) and later the Model Driven Architecture® (MDA®). He also led the effort to establish the SOA Consortium in January 2007, leading to the launch of the Business Ecology Initiative (BEI) in 2009. The Initiative focuses on the management imperative to make business more responsive, effective, sustainable and secure in a complex, networked world, through practice areas including Business Design, Business Process Excellence, Intelligent Business, Sustainable Business and Secure Business. In addition, Dr. Soley is the Executive Director of the Cloud Standards Customer Council, helping end-users transition to cloud computing and direct requirements and priorities for cloud standards throughout the industry.
Dr. Soley also serves on numerous industrial, technical and academic conference program committees, and speaks all over the world on issues relevant to standards, the adoption of new technology and creating successful companies. He is an active angel investor, and was involved in the creation of both the Eclipse Foundation and Open Health Tools.
Previously, Dr. Soley was a cofounder and former Chairman/CEO of A. I. Architects, Inc., maker of the 386 HummingBoard and other PC and workstation hardware and software. Prior to that, he consulted for various technology companies and venture firms on matters pertaining to software investment opportunities. Dr. Soley has also consulted for IBM, Motorola, PictureTel, Texas Instruments, Gold Hill Computer and others. He began his professional life at Honeywell Computer Systems working on the Multics operating system.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A., Dr. Soley holds bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Jeff Sutherland is the co-creator of Scrum and a leading expert on how the framework has evolved to meet the needs of today’s business.
The methodology he developed in 1993 and formalized in 1995 with Ken Schwaber has been adopted by the vast majority of software development companies around the world. But Jeff realized that the benefits of Scrum are not limited to software and product development. He has adapted this successful methodology to many other industries including: Finance, health care, government, higher education and communications.
As the CEO of Scrum Inc. and the Senior Advisor and Agile Coach to OpenView Venture Partners, Jeff sets the vision for success with Scrum. He continues to share best practices with organizations around the globe and has written extensively on Scrum rules and methods.
With a deep understanding of business process — gleaned from years as CTO/CEO of eleven different software companies — Jeff is able to describe the high level organizational benefits of Scrum and what it takes to create hyper-productive teams.
Nick is a veteran entrepreneur and business executive with a proven track record in building successful global technology organizations.
Nick earned his M.Sc. degree in 1983. Prior to starting his own business, Nick worked for the Institute of Linguistics of the Academy of Sciences as a researcher in the field of computational linguistics and natural language processing.
In 1991 Nick founded StarSoft, the private software engineering firm. During the next 15 years as CEO of StarSoft, he developed the company into a premier software services provider catering to clients in North America and Europe. Headquartered in Cambridge, MA, the company employed 700 engineers.
In 2007 StarSoft merged with Exigen Services. In his role as head of delivery in the joint company for the next three years, Nick was responsible for business development, managing customer relationships, and running the 1,500-staff operations in 10 R&D centers in 6 countries across Europe, Baltics and China.
Nick is the co-founder of First Line Software and serves as the company’s President and Chairman of the Board. He holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Informatics of the Academy of Sciences.
Nick’s hobbies include running, tennis, and golf, but his greatest passion by far is soccer. He has six sons and lives with his family in US.
Mike Medaglia has over 25 years of experience in the high technology sector where he has consulted on manufacturing automation, managed software development, managed multi-million dollar programs, and excelled in direct sales and channels building for global corporations. Starting out as a Senior Consultant with Digital Equipment Corporation for manufacturing automation Mike consulted on MRP implementations and helped design and then deliver custom manufacturing automation applications for Digital’s Fortune 100 clients. Mike has been fortunate in working for five successful start-up companies in their Services, Alliance, Channel, and Sales strategies including Exodus Communications in the build up to its highly successful IPO.
Prior to First Line Software, Mike’s most recent work was with Exigen Services for nearly five years as Managing Director of the Americas where he led Sales, Revenue, and Customer Services in building the Americas territory to more than $8M in annual revenue. Mike is a member of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) where he is a Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP). He is also a certified Agile Scrum Product Owner. His education includes Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Massachusetts.
When he isn’t working, Mike can be found hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and boating on the Merrimack River. He also recommends David McCullough’s The Great Bridge for an excellent read on how great engineers can complete breathtaking achievements while neutralizing political control and influence – not unlike the challenges in software engineering today.
David Tedford has over 20 years of sales experience within the IT/software industry. He excels at sales, business development, channel development, sales cycle management, negotiations, and sales team management.
David has been working in the technology industry for over 30 years starting out as a software developer, then moving into a presales role within a software company, before finally pursuing his passion in a sales capacity at multiple technology organizations over the past 20 years.
Prior to first Line Software, David was the National Sales Manager for Rentsys Recovery Services where he managed a team of sales reps across the country while also maintaining a book of business with an annual quota of over $8 million. David enjoyed the player / coach responsibility but primarily loves providing solutions to customer challenges.
Back in March 2017, David joined First Line Software as Vice President and will be responsible for creating visibility and awareness globally and ultimately growing top line revenue. David is excited about this opportunity and is enjoying working with a team of pioneers in the software development industry.
David received his undergraduate degree in CIS from Quinnipiac University in 1987 and went on to graduate school at the University of Massachusetts where he received his MBA in 2002. In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with family and friends in the mountains of NH or on the beaches of FL.

Mark Edgett is an executive sales and business development professional with over 35 years’ experience in High Technology and 15+ years as a sales professional. Mark started his career as technical geek, (hardware & software engineer) and held roles as a senior infrastructure solutions architect, director of professional and customer services, and a senior sales engineer before moving into direct sales.
Mark specializes in partnering with customers to understand their goals, key business drivers, and pain points to develop and deliver customer specific Cloud, DevOps, Digital Transformation, Full Lifecycle software development, QA, and Support and Maintenance services across industries and verticals.
Prior to First Line Software, Mark was Sr. Director, Sales and Business Development for Kanda Software where he was the top revenue producer, generating over 5 million yearly revenue, and creating key partnerships with large and small companies in the technology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, robotics, manufacturing, financial, and emerging technologies. Some of the key large and small companies were Dell Technologies, Astellas Pharmaceuticals, Aptus Health a subsidiary of Merck, High Res Biosolutions, The Wind Group, NeoLab, WareHub, MindSciences, SymmetryRX, and Genus Technology.
Mark joined First Line Software as a Vice President, responsible for growing First Line Software revenue and developing strategic partnerships with large, small, and startup companies in the Eastern U.S. and globally. Mark is excited to be working with top professionals in the outsourcing industry, partnering with new and existing customers to help meet key business goals, and developing key partnerships that leverage First Line Software’s extensive knowledge and expertise.
When Mark isn’t working, he likes to spend his time with his wife Susan, their four children, seven grandchildren, traveling, fishing, and playing competitive hockey.

Marisa started her career as C/UNIX developer after graduating from Fanshawe College (London, Ontario) with a Business Information Systems diploma. Within a few years, she realized how much she enjoyed working with clients solving their business issues as much as solving their technical projects. For the next decade, Marisa worked for an accounts receivable management software developer with a focus on account and technical project management, strategic alliance partnerships and event management.
Marisa has been working for First Line Software since 2016 as a director for business development and operations.
Marisa and her husband recently moved to Portland, Maine from the Washington DC Metro Area. Her hobbies include photography, cooking and traveling.
