First Line Software at InterSystems Global Summit 2019
First Line Software met with many industry leaders during Global Summit 2019 - the premier event for the InterSystems technology community.
Since First Line Software is a Select Implementation Partner for InterSystems we had a booth in the Partners Pavilion this year. We met with a wide range of attendees, from C-level executives, subject matter experts, visionaries, managers, directors and developers that were interested in healthcare software solutions that First Line Software can provide.
The Global Summit was a three and a half-day event that was held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, September 22-25, 2019.
Keynotes and presentations were focused on the Intersystems IRIS platform’s latest features, the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, the latest health solutions that are being developed and how InterSystems can help companies improve the way they share assets, integrate with other tools in their stacks, and use data through automated strategic recommendations.
Like all industries healthcare is in transition. It is information-intensive, distributed, demands agility and is changing rapidly, according to Dan Woodlock, Head of HealthShare at InterSystems.
Regina Barzilay, Ph.D. Delta Electronics, Professor, MIT discussed how collaboration with Partners Healthcare will help to develop better, AI-based models for detecting malignancies, especially in mammography.
Jeff Elton among many others shared how his company, Concerto Health AI, is using InterSystems IRIS for Health for AI.
MIT Professor James Collins talked about AI in Healthcare and Biomedicine. His research group is currently focused on using synthetic biology to create next-generation diagnostics and therapeutics. His patented technologies have been licensed by over 25 biotech, pharma, and medical device companies.
Attendees also had the opportunity to learn about the ways First Line Software offers including Healthcare System Integration, Evidence-based Clinical Research, and RWD / RWE, along with Clinical System and Pathways Development, Clinical Knowledge Management, Decision Support, and AI and Machine Learning capabilities.
